Privacy Policy
This notice explains what personal information Sport Social Smart (“we”) will use, why, and how you can contact us. It is written with the UK ICO guidance for small organisations as a reference point; it is not a certification of compliance in any country.
Who we are
Seller and data controller: To be confirmed: legal name, registered address, company/VAT number. Contact: support@sportsocialsmart.com.
What is active today
At this stage the website is a public preview. There are no club accounts, no sign-in, no checkout, no forms that save data and no lesson emails being sent. The sample lesson does not store your answers. We do not currently collect personal data through this website.
What the service will process once launched
- Club administrators: name, email, club name and logo, used to run the club account.
- Members: first name or nickname, group and age band (under 18 / adult). No full dates of birth and no sensitive data are requested.
- Recipients: for under-18 members, the email of a parent or guardian — we never ask for a child's email address. Adult members may receive emails directly.
- Participation: whether a lesson activity was completed and quiz answers. Clubs see aggregate participation figures, not individual answers.
- Purchases: handled by Shopify checkout; we receive order details (buyer, plan, amount), not full card data.
Why we use it
To provide the club dashboard, send weekly lessons, show participation and manage licences. Lawful basis for each purpose: To be confirmed: lawful basis per purpose.
Who we share it with
Planned service providers: hosting and database, an email delivery provider and Shopify for payments. None of these is connected yet. Final list, locations and any international transfers: To be confirmed: processors, locations and transfer safeguards.
How long we keep it
To be confirmed: retention periods for each category. Clubs will be able to archive members, which frees their place.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data and to complain to a data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). Contact us at the address above. Response process and supervisory authority: To be confirmed: details.
